Hi, my name is Zion. I’m a senior in the Theatre Dept. at Duke Ellington School of The Arts. During my time here, I’ve done several projects such as March for the Arts 2022, March for the Arts 2023, The Enough Project, A Taste of Broadway, and other productions in other departments as well. But, this is my big year, my senior year. This year I get to participate in major shows this year like the senior showcase and the spring show. Ellington relies on the generosity of parents and donors to ensure that our students receive the highest level of pre-professional training and performance opportunities. Donations enable them to create sets, craft costumes, power technical capabilities, hire additional instructors, and fund classes with Master Acting Teachers like the renowned Professor Vera Katz, Tony-nominated actor Corey Hawkins.
